Motherwell: Scottish Premiership 2026/27 fixtures and schedule

Motherwell will kick off their 2026/27 Scottish Premiership season at Hibernian's Easter Road on August 2, live on Your Site.

The Sunday evening match, which will kick-off at 4.30pm, is part of a groundbreaking opening weekend that will see for the first time.

It is a repeat of last season's final fixture, when Fir Park club won to secure European football.

Motherwell, shortly after the fixtures were announced, then host Falkirk at Fir Park on August 8.

Boxing Day fixtures return with the Steelmen away to Celtic on December 26, before a New Year game against St Johnstone on January 2.

Their final game before the split sees them away to the newly promoted Saints on April 10.

Motherwell will play their Conference League second qualifying round fixture before the Premiership season.

Should they progress past , the first leg of their third-round tie takes place on August 6 - just days after their league opener. The Fir Park side face the return tie a week later, with a Premiership game against Falkirk on August 8 sandwiched in between.

Following their League Cup fixture on August 15/16, they play the first leg of a possible play-off tie on August 20, and the subsequent game seven days later.

A match against Aberdeen is scheduled in between on August 22 but that could be postponed at the request of Motherwell, if they wish to take advantage of an SPFL rule designed to help clubs better prepare for the second-leg of European play-offs.
